    We currently have an opportunity for a Resident Service Coordinator at Mount Vernon Square, a 1387-unit apartment community located in Alexandria, VA.  The Resident Service Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for residents needing our maintenance services, allowing you the opportunity to build relationships with our residents and our service team.  Successful Resident Service Coordinators have come from retail, customer service, and hospitality backgrounds.


    As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will:

    • Answer a dedicated maintenance telephone line and process service requests as needed.
    • Manage the lease renewal process
    • Coordinate resident activties/concerns
    • Assist with managing office staff as needed
    • Download service requests taken by our contact center into MRI and distribute to the maintenance team as needed.
    • Maintain key log by checking keys in and out for vendors, while maintaining a schedule for following up on vendor’s work.
    • Effectively handle and resolve escalated resident concerns.


    • Strong customer service skills and experience.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including alternating weekends and some evening hours due to resident events and extended office hours.
    • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
